Mahwah NJ Sex Crime AttorneysA Wyckoff NJ man was arrested and charged with lewdness for allegedly committing an inappropriate act in Mahwah, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 33-year-old man who lives in Wyckoff, New Jersey. According to Bergen County prosecutors, the suspect was observed committing a lewd act while he sat in a car that was parked in the Sheraton Hotel garage in Mahwah, NJ.

The suspect reportedly tried to flee the scene before police officers could capture him and almost crashed into a police patrol vehicle. However, Mahwah cops ultimately apprehended the suspect.

The suspect has been charged with a number of crimes: he faces three counts of lewdness and one count of attempting to elude police.

If the suspect is ultimately convicted on the sex offense charges, he could potentially be sentenced to significant prison time. Additionally, the suspect could be subject to Megan’s Law sex offender registration requirements.
