Police are looking into a major brawl at a Halloween party that was held at a North Bergen motorcycle club.
The violent incident went down a short time before midnight. The North Bergen Police Department got a call about gunshots being fired near Mazzoni Place in North Bergen, New Jersey.
When police officers showed up at the scene, they came across more than 100 members of various motorcycle clubs in attendance at a Halloween party at the Lost Boyz Motorcycle Club. The motorcycle groups attending the party included the Brick City Riders MC, Free Spirits MC, Hell’s Angels, Hoboken MC, Lost Boyz MC, Lowriders MC, and Thug Riders.
The incident quickly spiraled out of control, resulting in police calling for help from neighboring police departments in Cliffside Park, Fairview, Guttenberg, Jersey City, and West New York.
The brawl led to serious violence and multiple injuries. According to officials, there were nine gunshots fired and four stabbings during the brawl. Thankfully, no one suffered any gunshot-related injuries.
Police allegedly found nine shell casings, a handgun, and multiple knives at the scene. Police also allegedly seized unspecified amounts of cocaine and methamphetamine.
The North Bergen Police Department and New Jersey State Police are currently working together on an investigation into the incident. At this time, authorities have not announced any arrests or criminal charges in the case.
If anyone is ultimately placed under arrest, they may face criminal charges for aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and cocaine possession.
