Oradell NJ Armed Robbery LawyersPolice in Oradell NJ are investigating a recent bank robbery.

The bank robbery occurred around 10:20 a.m. According to Oradell authorities, the suspect walked into the Hudson City Savings Bank located on Kinderkamack Road in Oradell, New Jersey. Once inside the building, the suspect allegedly walked toward a bank worker and demanded that the employee give him an unspecified amount of money.

After getting the cash, the suspect ran out of the bank. Employees then dialed 911 and notified the Oradell Police Department.

Law enforcement indicated that the suspect did not use a weapon, like a handgun or knife, during the theft. At this time, officials are not releasing any other details about the bank robbery.

Oradell police and the FBI are conducting a joint investigation into the robbery.

If investigators can eventually identify and capture a suspect in the robbery, serious criminal charges would probably follow. As set forth by N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1, robbery is usually classified as a second degree criminal offense and carries a potential sentence of 5-10 years in New Jersey State Prison.
