A Hackensack New Jersey man faces charges for criminal sexual contact after he allegedly engaged in sexual relations with a 10-year-old girl Paterson NJ school.

According to officials, the 36-year-old Hackensack man worked as a physical education teacher at School 8 in the Paterson school district. He is accused of having inappropriate sexual conduct with the minor victim.

The victim is reportedly a student at the school where the suspect was teaching P.E.

In September 2015, the suspect was transferred from School 10 to School 8 for unspecified reasons. After the suspect was placed under arrest and charged with the sex offense, he was fired by School 8.

The suspect is charged with multiple sex offenses, including aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

After being arrested and charged, the suspect was released from police custody at Passaic County Jail in Paterson, New Jersey. He secured his release by posting a $50,000 bail amount. The terms of the suspect’s bail bar him from any unsupervised contact with minors under the age of 18.

Meanwhile, School 8 in Paterson has reportedly offered counseling to the alleged victim in the case.
