New Milford NJ Robbery ChargesNew Milford New Jersey law enforcement arrested three individuals who allegedly committed a violent assault of a local woman during a robbery in front of a local grocery store.

The suspects allegedly committed the horrifying attack outside the ShopRite grocery store on River Road in New Milford, NJ. The victim was walking in the area when two women reportedly moved toward her and began to punch and kick her.

Afterwards, one of the suspects reportedly stole the victim’s cell phone. The suspects then ran from the scene and fled the area on foot.

When New Milford NJ police arrived at the scene of the crime, they found the victim suffering from several physical injuries. She was transported to a local hospital, where doctors provided her with medical treatment for a hematoma to her forehead, a broken finger on one of her hands, and numerous abrasions on her arms and hands.

New Milford NJ police investigated the incident and soon located the three suspects: a 22-year-old female from the Bronx, NY; another 22-year-old female from the Bronx, New York; and a 24-year-old New Milford man.

The two women face criminal charges for robbery, while the male suspect has faces criminal charges for the lesser offense of conspiracy to commit robbery. Police said that the suspect was only “peripherally involved” in the assault and theft.

After being arrested and charged, the three suspects were moved to the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, New Jersey. The female suspects were being held at the jail on separate $75,000 bail amounts. Meanwhile, the male suspect was being held at the correctional facility in lieu of $50,000 bail.
