East Rutherford police are trying to locate a man accused of violently attacking a woman with bleach in September.
The scary incident unfolded at a Schindler Court residence in East Rutherford NJ on September 13, 2016. According to officials, the suspect and the victim knew each other and got into a heated argument at the home. At some point, the verbal altercation became a physical altercation and the suspect allegedly urinated on the floor.
The victim picked up a bottle of bleach and poured bleach on the floor to clean the urine. That’s when the suspect allegedly took the bottle and poured bleach on the victim.
Additionally, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim and dragged her across the floor. He then reportedly punched her before exiting the residence and fleeing the scene.
The suspect is a 28-year-old man from East Rutherford, New Jersey. Law enforcement is searching for the suspect and believes that he may be hiding in Paterson or the Bronx.
If authorities locate and capture the suspect, he will have to answer criminal charges for aggravated assault.
