Fair Lawn NJ police recently apprehended an East Rutherford woman who allegedly possessed a large amount of heroin and concealed the drugs in her underwear.
The suspect, a 26-year-old East Rutherford NJ woman, was reportedly walking along Second Street in Fair Lawn around 11:00 a.m. when a Fair Lawn patrol officer saw her acting in a suspicious manner.
The Fair Lawn NJ cop approached the suspect and talked to her. At some point during the conversation, the police officer allegedly noticed a crack pipe in the suspect’s coat pocket.
When police later searched the suspect, they allegedly discovered 41 bags of heroin in her underwear and 55 bags of crack cocaine taped to her thigh.
Fair Lawn detectives also reportedly learned that the suspect was wanted by Haledon NJ police and Rochelle Park NJ police.
The suspect now faces multiple drug crime charges, including possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
After being arrested, the suspect was transported to Haledon police headquarters for processing.
