Fort Lee NJ Bank Robbery SuspectFort Lee NJ police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a local bank on Monday.

The suspect reportedly committed the bank robbery around 4:30 p.m. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect entered the TD Bank located at 1400 Palisade Avenue and walked toward a bank teller. The suspect then allegedly handed a threatening note to the teller and demanded that the worker hand over cash.

After getting an undisclosed sum of money from the bank teller, the suspect exited the building and fled the scene on foot.

The Fort Lee Police Department was notified of the robbery and dispatched police officers to the scene. Cops canvassed the area but were unable to find the suspect.

Several law enforcement agencies are working together on the investigation, including the Fort Lee Police Department, the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
