A Ridgefield Park NJ woman faces criminal charges for cocaine distribution after police allegedly caught her selling drugs in a house with three children present.
The suspect is a 60-year-old woman from Ridgefield Park, NJ. She allegedly distributed cocaine out of a home located on Teaneck Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey.
Ridgefield Park cops and detectives with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office investigated the suspect and conducted surveillance on the Ridgefield Park home. Police eventually got search warrants for the residence.
Police searched the house and allegedly discovered 22 grams of cocaine. According to authorities, the seized cocaine has a street value of approximately $4,000.
When the suspect was taken into police custody, there were reportedly three young children in the house.
The suspect has been charged with multiple crimes, including distribution of cocaine and endangering the welfare of a child.
After being placed under arrest and charged, the suspect was released on her own recognizance. She will have to appear in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack to address the charges against her.
