Allendale NJ police officers investigated a recent car accident that caused extensive damage to the Sky Zone Trampoline Park.
The car accident happened just before 3:00 p.m. The Allendale Police Department got a call about a car having crashed into a building on Commerce Drive in Allendale, NJ.
When Allendale NJ police officers got to Sky Zone Trampoline Park, the scene of the car accident, they found a vehicle halfway inside the building. According to law enforcement, the motor vehicle slammed through a wall at the trampoline park.
Allendale police officers worked quickly to evacuate the building and brought in safety experts to make sure that the structure was safe for occupants. Fortunately, nobody suffered any injuries due to the auto accident.
The driver of the vehicle was a 51-year-old resident of Teaneck, New Jersey. According to authorities, he had a diabetic emergency while driving and lost control of the car. After the motor vehicle accident, he was transported to Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.
Since the accident was reportedly caused by a medical episode, the driver was not issued any traffic citations.
