Police officers recently apprehended two men, brothers, who reportedly committed multiple burglaries in Cliffside Park, New Jersey.
The suspects are a 32-year-old Englewood man and a 37-year-old Hackensack NJ man. According to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the two burglary suspects are brothers.
The two suspects have been accused of breaking into a Cliffside Park home in April 2017 and another Cliffside Park NJ home in June 2017.
After the first burglary and theft, police departments across New Jersey worked on an investigation. Law enforcement eventually arrested the suspects when the two men reportedly drove a car around a Cliffside Park NJ neighborhood in a suspicious manner. Cliffside Park NJ detectives took notice when a burglary was reported at a house located on Washington Avenue. The burglary incident took place around the same time that the suspects were allegedly driving their vehicle in the area.
Cliffside Park NJ police subsequently stopped the suspects’ car and arrested the men.
The two brothers now face criminal charges for burglary and theft of movable property. It is possible that more charges could be forthcoming.
While the suspects await a detention hearing, they are being held at the Bergen County Jail in Hackensack, NJ.
