A man accused of brutally killing his ex-girlfriend in Englewood NJ also reportedly stalked her in the weeks leading up to the murder, according to Bergen County officials.
The suspect, a 40-year-old man, allegedly became angry following the end of his relationship with the victim. He then allegedly stalked the 31-year-old victim for two weeks before he finally killed her.
The victim, who lived in Englewood New Jersey, reportedly got in touch with law enforcement prior to the homicide and told police that the victim had been stalking her. Officials have not stated whether the victim got a restraining order against the suspect.
The victim’s body was found in the Hudson River, near NYC. Her body had been dismembered.
Bergen County NJ detectives investigated the homicide and eventually placed the suspect under arrest. The suspect was subsequently charged with several crimes, including first degree murder, desecration of human remains, hindering apprehension, stalking, and domestic violence.
