Two men who reside in South Carolina were recently placed under arrest in connection with the stabbing and robbery of a man in Wyckoff, New Jersey.
The two suspects are a 23-year-old male from South Carolina and a 26-year-old male from South Carolina. According to Bergen County prosecutors, the suspects robbed the victim at the Extended Stay America on Route 3 in the Meadowlands in Bergen County, NJ. The Wyckoff Police Department received a 911 emergency call just before 3:00 p.m. to report the theft offense.
The suspects allegedly got away with roughly $3,000 in cash. Additionally, the South Carolina suspects allegedly used a knife to stab the victim while committing the robbery.
The victim lives in East Rutherford, NJ. After he was violently assaulted and robbed, the victim went to a local hospital to receive medical treatment for his injuries.
Wyckoff NJ police officers investigated the attack and identified the suspects as the possible culprits. The suspects were later found in South Carolina and placed under arrest. They will soon be extradited to New Jersey to face very serious criminal charges for attempted murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit murder, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
